What is The US Legal Learning Tree?
Whether you are preparing for an LLM program in the United States, practicing internationally, or working in a profession intersected by US law, you need a solid foundation. Course topics include fundamentals of US constitutional law, the application of common law, the mechanics of US litigation including jury trials, and areas of law which directly affect companies in Asia doing business in the United States.
The US Legal Learning Tree is an 10-session interactive virtual course designed to build your confidence and fluency in the American legal process. Taught by a former Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania with 30 years of litigation experience.

Meet Your Instructor
Andrew Soven is an experienced U.S. litigator with 30 years of experience at several international law firms. For 11 years, he served as an adjunct professor teaching the U.S. legal system and U.S. law at the University of Pennsylvania. As a practicing lawyer, Andrew represents financial institutions and commercial businesses in a wide variety of cases. He has significant courtroom experience and has tried jury and non-jury cases to verdict in state and federal courts.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and numerous federal courts, and for six years, served as a hearing officer for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board.
